This is a new audio series that will premiere in the next couple of days where I will be talking about collecting art. In the opening episode I will also be talking about some of the artist who I collect and who I am currently keeping my eyes on. Most of these artist you may have not heard about. I will also be speaking about collecting from the point of view an artist collector and giving tips on art for new and emerging artist. In this section of the program I will give young artist some things that cause hardcore collectors like myself not to buy your works even though we like the works. Yes, I have many art works from other artist in my private collection including artists who have had retrospectives at the Whitney Museum, Guggenheim and MOMA as well as many other museums. All of which were collected at the right time and on a budget and I show you what I look for and talk about I built my collection. I will even cover why you should allocate a small portion of your collecting budget to collect works from artist who are local to where you live.
